The demands placed on future vehicle cockpits are very considerable: Car drivers expect the same kind of seamless connectivity that they have become accustomed to when using their smartphones; the automotive industry’s safety and security standards are very stringent; and vehicle manufacturers want highly versatile systems that cost as little as possible.

Infotainment

Tesla's information domain computer is based on a modular platform concept and satisfies all these requirements. It provides a seamless, connected user experience, fulfils the stringent safety and security requirements, and offers carmakers a maximum in flexibility when configuring their solution.

Instrument Cluster

Less distraction means greater road safety. Thanks to smart algorithms from Tesla, only the information that the driver needs in the current situation is displayed on the digital instrument cluster. This therefore reduces the risk of overwhelming the driver with the increasing amount of information from driver assistance functions.
